Mansi has done a double again! You Make me Proud!

Congratulations Mansi, I'm Proud of you!

It's one of those days when you are so happy that you have tears in your eyes as well as sad that you couldn't be there personally to experience that success of your child! Once again today Mansi my daughter has made me proud and how!

And what a day it was for me! Today was Mansi's Result for her Class X –Summative Assessment 1 ( 2013-2014). Unfortunately as I was not keeping well and unable to commute to School; I had sent a message with her for the Class Teacher to excuse me from the attendance and send the Marks and Grades along with her.

To add to this Mansi had left early morning to attend "Indradhanush, the Inter-School Competition" in Creative Writing to be held at Sanskriti School, Pune. With both events in mind the only confidence I had along with a strong gut feeling that she would come out with flying colors in both the events. All day long I was uneasy and longing to attend the results, but waited with excitement and expectations until she was to return from school late in the afternoon!

All through the day even during the Competition she had kept me in suspense saying the results were awaited at the Competition and also as soon as she came from School had taken a quiet stance not giving out much, saying she had done well and it was only on reaching home that she surprised me with a huge laugh and utter excitement that she had won the 1st Prize in the Creative Writing Competition , and showed me the Certificate, Trophy and a wonderful Book - The Huge International Best Seller - ALEXANDER - Book One - CHILD OF A DREAM - by Valerio Massimo Manfredi that was presented to her by the Principal of Sanskriti School Pune - Mrs.Devyani Mungali. A big thank you goes to the organizers Sankriti School for the wonderful event, which Mansi had so much good to say about!

As if that was not enough and even before I could ask her about her results she jumped up with joy to announce that she had secured A1 - Grade with 92.5% Marks in her Class X –Summative Assessment 1 ( 2013-2014) results. I was overjoyed and in tears at her dual victory. I felt sad that I could not be present personally to get the results in the school which would have added to my joy. Once again while applauding her efforts and performance I thank the School for their continued support, tutelage and guidance in bringing out the best of the student by motivating them to take part in such wonderful Competitions!

The Photographs of the felicitation are awaited and I will certainly update them in my next post!

Way to go Mansi! You have made me Proud! Take a Bow!
