Bringing In a new look to my Blog Posting!

SACHIN'S WEBLOG - COLLECTIVELY CONSCIOUS, PASSION BLOGGING! - BRINGING IN A NEW LOOK TO MY BLOG POSTING!

Very Happy to inform all my loved and most respected Readers, Viewers, Patrons, and Well-wishers that you will in for an amazing reading experience. Based on very positive and creative inputs from many of my readers there will be a total revamp of my Blogging.

With almost 20 Different Blogs on various Topics, and each having a dedicated Facebook Page, Twitter Page it was becoming very difficult for me to concentrate and render quality content on all topics as I am so happy that there was a flourish of readers in each genre. I had to come out with a solution and here it is. All Facebook Pages will remain the same, however I will be Blogging for all topics from one Selected Blog which I am in the process of finalizing. Only one Blog - Vegetable And Fruit Carvings will continue to work independently and share on respective FB Pages and Twitter handles as it has a huge following.

I will be posting shortly with the complete details on how this will work. My only intention is to ensure that there is a steady flow of quality content for readers who like various topics and genres, at the same time not having them to search for different blogs to read about the same.

More details will be updated through my post coming up shortly, giving full details on how this will be distributed and accessible to all my loving readers.

I look forward to your continued Patronage and Viewership and I am sure that the new way in which I will bring forward my content to you will get your approval and liking. Your valued comments, suggestions and Ideas will always be appreciated, and incorporated to improve those changes further if required.

From Baby Steps To A Vicenarian - My Daughter You Make Me Proud!

From Baby Steps To A Vicenarian -My Daughter You Make Me Proud!

Yes, this post - "From Baby Steps To A Vicenarian Who Makes Me Proud" is very dear to me. (For that matter - A person between 20 years old and 29 old years is called a Vicenarian).

It is always a very sentimental and satisfying feeling when your children grow up before your eyes and develop into their own personality which you can be proud of. And it gives even more pride and satisfaction when that child almost follows your footsteps but creates a niche for themselves. For me it is a moment of pride, privilege and immense pleasure to write a little bit about my daughter Mansi.

Even when she was a toddler Mansi always tugged at my clothing and climbed onto my lap as I would keep writing, blogging or doing any work on my Computer. Trying to hit a finger here or there, or just bang the hand down on the keyboard, was all a matter of happiness for  me as she would sit and slowly doze off onto my lap as I would just keep mumbling to her or rhyming a poetry or song just to make her feel as if she was part of the process of writing. Little did I know that this lovable mumbling and goo goo gaa gaa interaction with her would transform into a passion of her own. Even as she grew; never had I personally trained or taught her even about the use of the computer, keyboard, or for that matter even my deep attachment and involvement with the social media. But as time flew past I realized that she had not only picked up but bettered my performance not only in the operations but use of these media forms. She also had a liking for music and I still remember she would sleep only if we played her favorite song "Taal Se Taal Mila" even when she was a child.

Today as I write this blog post I feel a sense of satisfaction, pride and even surprise at her excellent writing, poetry, music and connectivity with the social media, and her large fan following from her friends and relatives. All through her childhood she has been a silent and docile kid, never troubling us or anyone, but today she has become the very essence of my life. Her journey in front of my eyes has been one which makes my heart swell with pride.

I would certainly like to add that I only noticed this skill and growing passion for writing and poetry when she started receiving various awards at school for oration, poetry, article writing and other forms of art and even had quite a few of her poems and articles printed in her School Magazine. To add to this she has been receiving various prizes at Poetry and Writing competitions besides her getting "First Class" rank and achievement for Singing (Gayan) in the "Praveshika Purna" from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya Mandal.

Though I was always encouraging her in her creative skills her true potential came to light as it all started with her winning the English Debate Competitions in School, way back in 2011-12, then, winning - Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics - National Science Day - Joint 2nd prize - On the Spot Poetry Competition at the Inter-School Competition for Students on Saturday Feb' 25th 2012, which was held at the Chandrashekhar Auditorium in IUCAA- Pune, followed by 1st Prize Winner in Creative Writing in "Indradhanush, the Inter-School Competition" that was held at Sanskriti School Pune, on 26th October 2013 to highlight just a few of her notable achievements.

It is then that she also took up this passion seriously and starting channelizing her work and writing which till then were strewn helter skelter. She has collated her work into a proper diary and through this medium of my Blog posts I will try to bring to the reader some of her work which was hitherto unknown. It will be my privilege and pleasure to guide her in this work and am looking forward to getting her work published in magazines and if possible create a book of her collection of poems and writing.

Well before I realized she was already getting  acquainted and connected with the best of the Social Media Platforms so she can herself connect with people with like minded skills and learn from them.

Every step of her life she has been supportive, understanding, passionate, caring and above all very mature as compared to children of her own age. Yes she has gone through a lot of tough times for which I always feel guilty and sad, but that has made her a tougher and more resilient person. Today when stands up a Proud Graduate in Arts (B.A), it makes me feel so proud of her. Even today as she has grown up from that toddler to a striking young lady, I would be lost without my daughter!

She was always attracted to Music as a whole, and first took to guitaring over about 5 years ago. It was when she met and associated with Waltz Music Academy in Akurdi that her passion for music took a turn for the Better. Thanks to the mentoring, guidance, Blessings and Love of the Director Mr.Manish Rubdi Sir, she has taken her Passion as a Lead Guitarist to a new level. She has put in exceptional efforts, her time, even sacrificed her other hobbies and liking over Music which is her first passion.

Over the last few years she has not only performed in numerous Musical Programs and Events, but is taking her music very seriously to grow better. She is always ready to take on any challenge. Yes, sometimes she also gives me the jitters as you can see in this photograph below, holding a baby snake, but then I know she is in the safe hands of Mr.Manish Rubdi Sir who is an expert snake-handler himself, and Mansi has grown up strong enough to take care of her self!

While wishing her the very best in her efforts I also solicit the blessings, suggestions, and guidance of all my readers who have been showering me with the same for the many years that I have been writing myself. It is only with our love, guidance and motivation that I am confident that Mansi will be able to nurture her talent and bloom into a wonderful writer / Poet her self while pursuing her passion as a Guitarist!

The posts that follow will find Mansi portraying some of her poetry which she had written when in school, for all of you to read. Your valued comments suggestions and motivation will be highly appreciated!

Today all I can say is Wish you all the Best Mansi, May God be with you always in your every step in taking this passion forward!

Senior Moments That Will Make You Feel Younger And Happier!

Senior Moments That Will Make You Feel Younger And Happier!
We all keep sharing jokes and that makes our day and life lighter. Here are some great moments shared , as I would rather call them good Senior Moments that should bring cheer to some of our elders while also giving the younger generation a message that they should stay young at heart, and also treat their seniors with the same respect and love, to make their lives happier and more worth looking up to! Spend some time with them, crack some healthy jokes, show them you care, and need them as they need you, believe me you will be blessed!

A few good Senior Moments

*******

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: 'Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?'
Slim says, 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
'Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'

*******
An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, 'Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great.. I would recommend it very highly.'
The other man said, 'What is the name of the restaurant?'
The first man thought and thought and finally said, 'What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love?
You know.... The one that's red and has thorns.'
'Do you mean a rose?'
'Yes, that's the one,' replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, 'Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?'

*******
Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
'I don't know,' he said. 'She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.'

*******
Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a checkup, the doctor tells them that they're physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember ..
Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. 'Want anything while I'm in the kitchen?' he asks.
'Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?'
'Sure..'
'Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?' she asks.
'No, I can remember it.'
'Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so as not to forget it?'
He says, 'I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries.'
'I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, write it down?' she asks.
Irritated, he says, 'I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it, for goodness sake!'
Then he toddles into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, The old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs.. She stares at the plate for a moment.
'Where's my toast ?'

*******
A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:
'So I hear you're getting married?'
'Yep!'
'Do I know her?'
'Nope!'
'This woman, is she good looking?'
'Not really.'
'Is she a good cook?'
'Naw, she can't cook too well.'
'Does she have lots of money?'
'Nope! Poor as a church mouse.'
'Well, then, is she good in bed?'
'I don't know.'
'Why in the world do you want to marry her then?'
'Because she can still drive!'

*******
Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical check-up.
A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing great, aren't you?'
Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.''
The doctor said, 'I didn't say that.. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'

*******
One more. . .!
A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool.. After catching his breath, he ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, 'Crushed nuts?'
'No,' he replied, 'Arthritis.'
 Ft uhh

*******
Now , before you 'forget', send them on to some other folks you know who could use a good laugh !
