Your Alma mater Creates you!

However big or small your achievements may be , one should not forget that it is your Alma mater-(a school, college, or university at which one has studied and, usually, from which one has graduated.) - which is primarily responsible for moulding your character and making you what you are today, besides the culture and upbringing from your parents. It decides the combination of traits and qualities distinguishing the individual nature of a person that you are.

Today as I post about the proud achievements of my daughter Mansi I have equally to thank her school - City Pride School, the Management, Teachers, Non-teaching staff, and not the least to mention her Friends and classmates who have motivated and stood by her at all times for all that she has achieved.

We often forget that a child spends over half the life period of their Schooling years in the School or as I mentioned rightly his/her Alma mater. Yet few of us remember or let alone thank, our Alma mater for all that we have achieved or for what we are today as we go ahead and laud ourselves for our achievements. There is no doubt that your achievements are primarily a net result of your hard work, dedication and unstinting, relentless efforts to achieve your dreams, but behind all this stands the silent, invisible yet very omnipresent hand and blessings of our Alma mater.

On behalf of my daughter Mansi and myself I take this opportunity to thank all her friends, classmates, Teachers and Management from City Pride School, who have been congratulating her for her achievements always and motivating her to do better. It is your love, blessings and best wishes that have been with her all through her success, and as their School Tag line says "Reaching New Heights"; so they should be given equal credit for her achievements.

Congratulations!!

It is a proud and happy moment for City Pride School family. City Pride School is one of the few schools in India to have earned NABET (National Accreditation Board of Education & Training) Accreditation. This accreditation certificate has been awarded by Ms Sheila Dikshit, the honourable Chief Minister of Delhi on 10th October, 2012 at Delhi.

While I proceed to conclude,I once again thank my own Alma mater for all that I am, I take this special opportunity to also remember and thank my own School and Alma mater St.Stanislaus High School Bandra- Mumbai, for all that I have earned from being a proud student of this wonderful Institution. More over so as they are in their 150th Year , a great feeling for me as well as the school. The School Tag line says as I so believe myself - "Born for Greater Things" -

Born for Greater Things

Thank you my Alma mater!

It is therefore very important that we carry forward this legacy of our respect, love and cherish our Alma mater for time immemorial!
